Formal Record: Submit a written statement detailing the incident, ensuring all information is factual and remains strictly confidential.

Follow-Up: The officer will acknowledge your report and coordinate with senior leadership to determine the next steps in accordance with our policy.

Safeguarding refers to the measures we take to protect the health, well-being, and human rights of everyone involved in our karate community, especially children and vulnerable adults, ensuring they live free from abuse and neglect.

How do you ensure student safety during training?

We implement strict supervision ratios, enforce a professional code of conduct for all instructors, and maintain a clear reporting procedure for any concerns that may arise during or outside of class.

Are all instructors background checked?

Yes. Every instructor and volunteer at Karate Association Online must undergo a comprehensive DBS check and complete regular safeguarding training to ensure the highest standards of safety.

How should I report a safeguarding concern?

Concerns can be reported directly to our Safeguarding Officer, whose details are listed in the Reporting Concerns section, or via our anonymous online portal. All reports are handled with extreme confidentiality and urgency.
